4.5 million Nemophila flowers spread across 3.5 hectares of land at Hitachikaihin Park – a stunning destination for flower enthusiasts to enjoy the magnificent scenery.
3.5 hectares of land are covered in vibrant blue Nemophila flowers, creating a stunning sight known as “Mihara no Oka.” The border between the earth and the sky seems to disappear.
Allow me to share with you a breathtaking view of the Nemophila at Hitachi Kaihin Park in Ibaraki Prefecture that never fails to make me feel relaxed just by looking at it.
Witnessing the blooming flowers in all four seasons is truly a masterpiece. Travelers can admire the beautiful flowers that bloom in their respective seasons: tulips and daffodils in spring, roses and zinnias at the beginning of summer, and kokia and cosmos flowers in the fall. One particular scene is the harmony of Nemophila flowers at the beginning of summer, with 4.5 million flowers blooming in unison.
The wind blows, causing the pretty Nemophia flowers to sway like waves.
Nemophila is a type of plant belonging to the genus Nemophila of the Hymenoptera family, it is planted in autumn and blooms in spring.
At Hitachikaihin Park, Nemophila is planted with “Inshigunisu Blue” variety resembling the blue sky and white “Inshigunisuho White”.
